The webinar “Emerging Skills Needs and Training Offers in Renewable Energy Sector” will present the key outcomes of the MiCRET Erasmus+ project, addressing critical labour shortages in Europe’s renewable energy sector. It will showcase findings from the Skills Needs Analysis Report and the Digital and Green Skills Training Offerings Improvement Plan, covering six countries (Italy, France, Greece, Portugal, The Netherlands, Belgium). The session will highlight emerging occupational profiles, skill gaps, and opportunities for short-cycle training aligned with industry needs. Contributions from project partners and external experts, including InnoEnergy, will provide insights into market-driven training solutions. The webinar also aims to foster dialogue with European stakeholders, gather feedback, and explore the role of microcredentials in enabling flexible, recognised learning pathways. The ultimate goal is to inform the co-design of future training provisions tailored to the evolving renewable energy workforce.
