MiCRET MICROCREDENTIALS THERMOMETER – July

Webinar
10/07/2026
10:00 | 11:30 CET

Governance & funding

The MiCRET Microcredentials Thermometer webinar brings together national stakeholders, policymakers, experts and project partners to discuss the current state of play of microcredentials in Europe. This second edition is focused on France, The Netherlands and Portugal.

During the webinar, we will present and discuss the MiCRET Microcredentials Thermometer, an AI-supported country dashboard developed using publicly available sources to map policy developments, ecosystem maturity, standards, implementation, and adoption trends related to microcredentials in participating countries.

The Thermometer is intended as a starting point for discussion and validation with national stakeholders, rather than a definitive or exhaustive assessment. By comparing findings across countries and engaging with national experts, the webinar aims to validate evidence, identify gaps, and strengthen understanding of national microcredential ecosystems.

Participants will have the opportunity to exchange perspectives, reflect on challenges and opportunities, and contribute to a collective discussion on how microcredentials can better support lifelong learning, employability, skills recognition and education innovation.
